Fuel your day the trucker way — a trucker’s recipe born on the open road.

Here’s how to make Alford’s Poor Man’s Seafood Boil:

  • Boil the Eggs
Add eggs to your steamer pot, cover with water and add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until hard-boiled. Drain the water, leaving about 2 inches in the pot.
  • Add the Shrimp
Bring the remaining water back to a simmer. Add the shrimp and a dash (or two) of Old Bay or your preferred seasoning. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the Mussels
Pour in the frozen garlic-butter mussels (butter and all). Simmer with the shrimp for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Finish it Off
Peel the boiled eggs and add them back into the pot. Gently mix everything together so the garlic butter coats all the ingredients.
  • Serve & Enjoy
Spoon it out, grab a fork and enjoy your Poor Man’s Trucker Seafood Boil — easy, hearty and road-ready. 🚚🍤
